PART A — GENERAL
1. These terms
1.1 These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at sensible.com.sg and any subdomain of it, and any other domain from which we serve the same website (the "Site"), and, from the date stated in clause 1.4, your purchase of goods through the Site.
1.2 The Site is operated by SENSIBLE SKIN PTE. LTD., a private company limited by shares incorporated in Singapore, Unique Entity Number 202640831H ("we", "us", "our"). Our registered office address is on the public register at ACRA and can be looked up against that Unique Entity Number.
1.3 By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Site.
1.4 Part C (Supply of Goods) takes effect on the Shop Opening Date, which we will publish in this document before it arrives, and not before. Until that date the Site provides information only, offers no goods for sale, and accepts no payment. Part C is set out now so that the terms on which we would sell are published in advance rather than introduced at the point of purchase.
1.4A As at 4 September 2026 we stock nothing and sell nothing. The Site says so on its face. The shop pages describe what we intend to stock and invite you to tell us what we should stock. See clause 11A.
1.5 These Terms incorporate by reference, and should be read with:
(a) the Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice (one document, linked in the footer under both names);
(b) the Medical & Educational Disclaimer;
(c) the Cookie Policy; and
(d) the Editorial & Content Policy.
1.6 The Medical & Educational Disclaimer is not optional reading. It defines the limits of what the Site is, and clause 14 of these Terms is to be construed with it.
2. Definitions
In these Terms, unless the context requires otherwise:
"Account" means an account created on the Site under clause 9A.
"Content" means all text, images, illustrations, data, code, layout and other material made available on the Site, other than User Material.
"Goods" means the products offered for sale through the Site from the date in clause 1.4.
"Routine Generator" means the guided questionnaire on the Site which produces a suggested skincare routine and a shortlist of product categories.
"Routine Answers" means the responses you give to the Routine Generator, including any response concerning pregnancy, breastfeeding, skin type, skin concerns and sun exposure.
"User Material" means anything you submit to us, including enquiries, feedback and reports.
"you" means the person accessing the Site, and where Goods are purchased, the purchaser.
3. Eligibility
3.1 You may use the informational parts of the Site if you are 13 years of age or older. If you are under 13, please use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Clause 9A.2 sets the age at which you may create an Account, and clause 3.2 sets the age at which you may buy; this clause is not the whole of the eligibility position.
3.2 You may purchase Goods only if you are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. If you are under 18, you may purchase only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
3.3 The Site is directed at users in Singapore. We make no representation that the Content or the Goods are appropriate, lawful or available in any other jurisdiction, and you are responsible for compliance with local law if you access the Site from elsewhere.
4. Changes to these Terms and to the Site
4.1 We may amend these Terms. The amended Terms take effect when published on the Site with a revised effective date, and we will state what changed.
4.2 Where an amendment materially reduces your rights, it will not apply retrospectively to a contract for the supply of Goods formed before the amendment took effect.
4.3 We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site at any time. The Site is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not undertake that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
PART B — USE OF THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT
5. Permitted use
5.1 We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Site and to use the Content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
5.2 You may print or save a copy of your generated routine for your own use, and you may quote short extracts of the Content provided you attribute them to sensible.com.sg and do not alter their meaning.
6. Prohibited use
You must not:
(a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that is fraudulent or has a fraudulent effect;
(b) reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or exploit the Content commercially, or use it to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine-learning model, without our prior written consent;
(c) systematically extract the Content by scraping, crawling or any automated means, other than by a search engine indexing the Site in the ordinary way;
(d) present the Content, in whole or in part, as clinical guidance issued or endorsed by any person or body;
(e) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, any server on which it is stored, or any system connected to it;
(f) introduce any virus, worm, logic bomb or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful; or
(g) remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notice.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 All intellectual property rights in the Site and the Content are owned by us or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.
7.2 The name sensible, the sensible wordmark and the Site's visual identity are our trade marks. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
7.3 Certain illustrations and photographs on the Site are used under licence from third parties. Those rights are not sub-licensed to you by clause 5.
8. User Material
8.1 You retain ownership of your User Material. By submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store and reproduce it for the purpose of responding to you and of improving the Site.
8.2 You must not submit User Material that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or that contains another person's personal data without their consent.
8.3 Do not send us clinical information about yourself or anyone else. We are not able to give individual clinical advice through the Site, and we would rather not hold information we have no proper use for. If you send it, we will treat it in accordance with the Data Protection Notice and delete it when the enquiry is closed.
9. The Routine Generator
9.1 The Routine Generator is an information tool. It applies a published set of rules to the answers you give. It does not examine you, it does not diagnose, and it cannot know anything you have not told it.
9.2 A routine produced by the Routine Generator is a suggestion for you to consider, and where appropriate to discuss with a healthcare professional. It is not a prescription, a treatment plan, or a clinical recommendation directed at you personally.
9.3 The Routine Generator asks about pregnancy and breastfeeding in order to exclude certain ingredients. The exclusions it applies are conservative and are not a substitute for advice from your doctor, obstetrician or midwife. Where the evidence for an ingredient's safety in pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been established, the Site says so rather than implying safety.
9.4 The output of the Routine Generator depends entirely on the answers given. If your answers are inaccurate or incomplete, the output will be too.
9.5 Your Routine Answers are stored in your own web browser. Clearing your browser's site data will erase them, and we cannot recover them.
9.5A Unless you save them to an account. From 16 September 2026 you may create an account and press Save routine to your account. If you do, a short code representing your answers — your skin type, your makeup and sunscreen answers, your sun-exposure answer, the concerns you ranked and the actives you chose — is sent to us and held on your customer record. Nothing is sent unless you press it. Your pregnancy or breastfeeding answer is never part of that code, is never sent to us, and never leaves your browser, by design and not by promise. See the Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice, Part B and Part 8A.
9A. Accounts
9A.1 An Account is optional and it is free. Everything on the Site works without one, and the Routine Generator keeps your answers on your own device whether you have one or not. You never have to create one to read anything here.
9A.2 You may create an Account if you are 13 years of age or older. If you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian to do it with you. Clause 3.2 applies separately to buying Goods once the shop opens: an Account does not make you old enough to buy.
9A.3 What an Account holds is set out in Part 8A of the Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice, and that Part governs. In summary it holds your email address, the routines you have saved with the date each was saved, whether you asked to hear from us, and the two housekeeping values described at clause 8A.2. Your pregnancy or breastfeeding answer is not part of it, is never sent to us, and never leaves your browser.
9A.4 There is no password. You sign in by asking for a one-time code, which is sent to your email address. The sign-in page is hosted by Shopify on our behalf; clause 12.8 of the Notice sets out what they can see while you are there. It follows that anyone who can read email sent to your address can sign in as you. Keeping access to that mailbox is yours to do, and if you lose it we cannot move your Account to another address — we can only delete it and let you start again.
9A.5 One Account per email address, and we treat the person able to receive codes at that address as you. Give an address you control and expect to keep.
9A.6 Saving replaces. An Account holds one routine, not a history. Pressing Save routine to your account replaces whatever was saved there before, from whatever device. The Site tells you when it is about to do that.
9A.7 A saved routine is a convenience, not a backup. It is a copy held on a third party's system, and Accounts depend on that third party being available. We do not undertake that the Account system will be available without interruption or free of fault. The informational parts of the Site do not depend on it. If a routine matters to you, keep your own copy — the page prints.
9A.8 Ending it, your way. You may ask us to delete your Account at any time, at the address in clause 20 of the Notice, and we will delete your Account, your saved routine and your email address, and confirm when it is done (Notice clause 8A.7). Deleting the Account does not touch the answers held on your own device, and the Site keeps working.
9A.9 Ending it, ours. We delete an Account that has not been used for 24 months, under clause 8A.6 of the Notice. Separately, we may suspend or close an Account that is being used in breach of clause 6, and where it is practicable to tell you first, we will.
9A.10 An Account is not a subscription. Creating one does not put you on any list. Whether we may email you is a separate permission, asked separately, and governed by clause 9 of the Notice. You can withdraw it without closing your Account, and close your Account without withdrawing it.
9A.11 These Terms apply to your Account as they apply to the rest of the Site, including clause 14 (Liability), which is subject always to clause 14.1.
10. No professional relationship
10.1 Use of the Site does not create a doctor-patient relationship, a professional relationship, or a duty of care in respect of your individual health, between you and us or between you and any person associated with us.
10.2 Nothing on the Site is a substitute for an in-person consultation, examination, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.
10.3 If you have a symptom that concerns you, seek medical attention. Do not delay doing so because of anything you have read on the Site. In an emergency in Singapore, call 995.
11. Third-party links and resources
11.1 The Site contains links to third-party websites, including regulatory publications and scientific literature. Those links are provided for reference. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and accept no responsibility for them.
11.2 Following an external link takes you outside the Site and outside these Terms and our Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice.
11A. Suggestions, and the shelf before it is stocked
11A.1 The Site currently shows a list of the things we intend to stock, each marked Looking, In talks or Stocked. A row on that list is not an offer, a promise that we will stock the product, or a representation that we are able to.
11A.2 "I'd buy this" records your interest in your own browser. As at 4 September 2026 it sends nothing to us, creates no order, reserves nothing, and puts you under no obligation. The Site says so on the control itself.
11A.3 The Contribute page composes an email in your own mail application, which you send yourself. Nothing is submitted by the Site. A suggestion you send us is User Material under clause 8 and is handled under the Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice, clause 5.
11A.4 We are under no obligation to act on a suggestion, and we do not undertake to reply to every one. Where a suggestion changes something on the Site, it may be recorded on the Contribute page without your name. We will not publish your name, your email address or any identifying detail without asking you first.
11A.5 If you ask to be told when a product is stocked, we will send you one email about that product and nothing else, and you may tell us to stop at any time.
PART C — SUPPLY OF GOODS
This Part takes effect on the Shop Opening Date (clause 1.4). Before that date the Site offers no Goods for sale and this Part has no application.
12. Orders and contract formation
12.1 The display of Goods on the Site is an invitation to treat and not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy.
12.2 A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation identifying the Goods despatched. An acknowledgement of receipt of your order, or a payment authorisation, does not by itself form a contract.
12.3 We may decline an order, in whole or in part, including where:
(a) the Goods are unavailable;
(b) we have identified a pricing or description error under clause 13.3;
(c) we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment; or
(d) we reasonably believe the order is not for personal use, or is placed for resale.
12.4 Where we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the sum paid in full, by the method used for payment, without undue delay.
12.5 Availability of Goods is subject to their regulatory status. We supply cosmetic products. We will not supply, and will withdraw from sale, any product which is a health product or a prescription-only medicine within the meaning of the Health Products Act 2007 or subsidiary legislation made under it, or which does not carry a current notification to the Health Sciences Authority. Withdrawal on this ground is not a breach of these Terms.
13. Price and payment
13.1 Prices are in Singapore dollars and, unless stated otherwise, include Goods and Services Tax. Delivery charges are shown separately before you commit to the order.
13.2 The price payable is the price displayed at the time your order is placed, subject to clause 13.3.
13.3 Pricing and description errors. If a Good is listed at an incorrect price or with an incorrect description as a result of an error, and the error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we are not obliged to supply at the incorrect price. We will tell you before despatch and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
13.4 Payment is taken through the payment processor named in clause 23A on our behalf. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. See the Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice, clause 8.2.
14. Liability
Read this clause with clause 10 and with the Medical & Educational Disclaimer.
14.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts our liability for:
(a) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
This clause prevails over every other provision of these Terms. It reflects, among other things, section 2(1) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 (2020 Rev. Ed.).
14.2 Subject always to clause 14.1, and to the extent permitted by law:
(a) the Content is provided for information and education. We do not warrant that it is complete, current, or suitable for your particular circumstances;
(b) we are not liable for any decision you take, or omit to take, in reliance on the Content or on the output of the Routine Generator; and
(c) we are not liable for any loss which was not reasonably foreseeable at the time the relevant contract was formed, or for loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings.
14.3 Subject to clause 14.1, our total liability in connection with a contract for the supply of Goods is limited to the price paid for the Goods to which the claim relates.
14.4 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (2020 Rev. Ed.) and Part III of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 1975 (2020 Rev. Ed.). Where a term of these Terms conflicts with a right you have by statute, the statutory right prevails and the conflicting term does not apply.
15. Delivery and risk
15.1 We deliver within Singapore. Delivery is by the carrier named in clause 23A.
15.2 Delivery estimates are estimates. Time is not of the essence unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
15.3 Risk in the Goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave. Title passes on delivery or on payment in full, whichever is later.
15.4 If delivery is attempted and unsuccessful, and the Goods are returned to us, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. A further delivery charge may apply.
16. Cancellation, returns and refunds
16.1 Change of mind. You may cancel an order and return unopened Goods in their original, unbroken packaging within 14 days of delivery, for a refund of the price paid. You bear the cost of return unless the return is for a reason in clause 16.3. Send returns to the address named in clause 23A.
16.2 Goods that cannot be returned for change of mind. For reasons of hygiene and product safety, we cannot accept the return of Goods whose seal has been broken or which have been used, unless clause 16.3 applies.
16.3 Faulty, damaged, expired or misdescribed Goods. This clause is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights.
(a) If Goods are damaged in transit, are past their expiry or period-after-opening date on delivery, do not match their description, or are not of satisfactory quality, tell us within a reasonable time of discovering the problem.
(b) We will arrange collection or reimburse reasonable return postage.
(c) Under Part III of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (sections 12A to 12F), where Goods do not conform to the contract at the time of delivery you may require us to repair or replace them; and if that is impossible, disproportionate, or not done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you may require an appropriate reduction in price or may rescind the contract. Goods which do not conform within six months of delivery are presumed not to have conformed at the time of delivery, unless we show otherwise or the presumption is incompatible with the nature of the Goods or the defect.
(d) We do not contract out of Part III and any attempt to do so would be of no effect.
16.4 Adverse reactions. A cosmetic product that causes you an adverse reaction is not for that reason alone a faulty product — individual sensitivity is not a defect. Nevertheless: stop using the product, and if the reaction is severe, spreading, or affects your breathing, seek medical attention immediately. Please also tell us at hello@sensible.com.sg, because we report patterns of adverse reactions to the supplier and, where appropriate, to the Health Sciences Authority.
16.5 Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of our receiving the returned Goods or, where no return is required, of our agreeing that a refund is due.
17. Regulatory status of the Goods
17.1 The Goods we supply are cosmetic products within the meaning of the applicable ASEAN Cosmetic Directive requirements as implemented in Singapore, and are notified to the Health Sciences Authority.
17.2 The notification duty sits with the manufacturer or importer of a cosmetic product, not with every downstream seller. We source stock from importers already established in Singapore. We do not import. We satisfy ourselves that a current notification exists for a product before listing it, and we withdraw a product from sale when its notification lapses.
17.3 An HSA notification is not an endorsement or a certification of a product's safety or quality, and we do not present it as one.
17.4 We do not supply prescription-only medicines, and we do not make therapeutic claims for cosmetic products. Where the Content discusses a prescription treatment, it does so for information and directs you to a doctor.
PART D — GENERAL PROVISIONS
18. Suspension and termination
18.1 We may suspend or withdraw your access to the Site if you materially breach these Terms.
18.2 Termination does not affect any right or liability which has already accrued.
19. Complaints
19.1 If something has gone wrong, tell us first. Write to hello@sensible.com.sg setting out what happened and what you would like us to do. We will acknowledge within 5 working days and give a substantive response within 21 working days, or explain why we need longer.
19.2 Complaints about the handling of your personal data are dealt with under clause 16 of the Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice, which sets out your right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission.
19.3 Nothing in this clause prevents you from taking a dispute to the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE), to the Small Claims Tribunals, or to any other body with jurisdiction.
20. Notices and electronic communications
20.1 You consent to receive communications from us electronically. Notices sent by email are taken to be received on the day sent unless a delivery failure is received.
20.2 Contracts formed and notices given through the Site are valid and enforceable in electronic form under the Electronic Transactions Act 2010.
21. General
21.1 Severance. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it is to be severed and the remainder continues in force.
21.2 No waiver. A failure or delay in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of it.
21.3 Third parties. A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of them.
21.4 Entire agreement. These Terms and the documents referred to in clause 1.5 constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to the Site and the Goods. Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
21.5 Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours on notice to you, provided your rights are not prejudiced.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction
22.1 These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of Singapore.
22.2 The courts of Singapore have jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of any mandatory rule of the law of the place where you are resident.

23A. Third parties named for Part C
23A.1 Part C does not take effect until the Shop Opening Date (clause 1.4). This clause is where the parties Part C refers to are named.
23A.2 It is deliberately incomplete today, because we do not sell anything yet.
| Payment processor | To be named here before the Shop Opening Date |
| Delivery carrier | To be named here before the Shop Opening Date |
| Returns address | To be named here before the Shop Opening Date |
23A.3 We will not open the shop while any row above is blank. Part C could not be performed as written if we did, and publishing terms we could not perform would be worse than publishing none.
Version 2.2 · In force from 30 September 2026.
We review these Terms at least once a year, and whenever the goods we offer, the payment or delivery arrangements, or the scope of the Content changes. If we revise them we will publish the revised Terms with a new date and say what changed.
Part C (Supply of Goods) is not yet in force — see clause 1.4.
What changed, and when
What changed in 2.2
| What an Account holds | Clause 9A.3's summary said one short code from which your routine could be rebuilt. From 30 September 2026 an Account holds the routines you have saved, each as built, with the date — as Part 8A of the Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice (version 2.5) sets out. 9A.7 says "a copy" for the same reason. |
| Not changed | Everything else in 9A: the age is 13, there is no password, your pregnancy or breastfeeding answer is never part of an Account. Part C is still dormant. |
What changed in 2.1
| Accounts have terms | Accounts went live on 16 September 2026 and these Terms said nothing about them at all. Clause 9A is new and covers who may create one, what it holds, that there is no password and what follows from that, that saving replaces, how it ends — your way and ours — and that an Account is not a subscription. |
| The age for an Account is 13 | The same age as the rest of the informational Site (clause 3.1), not the 18 that applies to buying. An Account holds less about you than the Routine Generator already handles on your own device. Clause 3.1 now points at 9A.2 so that it is not read as the whole of the eligibility position. |
| "Account" is defined | Clause 2. |
| Not changed | Part C is still dormant: nothing is for sale and no payment is accepted (clauses 1.4 and 1.4A). Clause 9.5A still holds: your pregnancy or breastfeeding answer is never sent to us, whether or not you have an Account. |
We have also published this record rather than keeping it in our own files, for the same reason the Privacy Policy & Data Protection Notice now does: a promise to say what changed is not kept by saying it where you cannot see it.
